Week 9 Fortius Cycle 2016-10-18

I missed three days of training for my wedding. It showed quite a bit in my leg strength. Just prior to this session I had Boaz (PT) work on my shoulders and hips for about an hour. There was a noticeable difference during warm up. 

Programs as written

  • Muscle Clean + 2 PP (light). 3 sets of 2 reps
  • Snatch Balance + Overhead Squat (light) 3 sets of 2 reps
  • Snatch 4 sets of 2 reps @75%
  • C&J 4 sets of 1 rep @75%
  • FS Work up to 4 singles @90-95%

Training as performed

  • Muscle Clean + 2 PP
    • 40, 50, 54×2×3
  • Snatch Balance + OHS
    • 40, 50, 54×2×3
  • Snatch
    • 40, 50×1×1
    • 68×2×4
  • C&J
    • 70, 80×1×1
    • 86×2×4
    • Felt very weak in the clean. Definitely felt like 90% not 75% as it was supposed to. 
  • Front Squat
    • 90, 100, 105, 105×1×1
